Wall hangings

Wall hangings are generally antique pieces of clothing or fabric and are no longer being made due to the time involved and the difficulty in learning the art. If a piece is not an antique, it will be noted in the description. I have tried to note from which tribe each piece is through conversations with the person who sold it to me. In most cases, they are correct, but I cannot guarantee that they are all accurate. However, they are all from the hill tribe area in the "Golden Triangle" region of SE Asia that spreads across Burma, Thailand, and Laos.

All antique wall hangings from northern Thailand, Lao PDR (Laos) & Burma are approximately 40-100 years old. There is occasionally some loose stitching, but all are in excellent shape. I have close ups of the pieces for a look at the details, which show the fine intricate needlework.
